Here is the background post: https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...-close-squishy-crop-7-week-old-chick.1470998/
I didn't add onto this since her crop went down and wasn't squishy at all after a bit over 12 hrs with out food. I let her out of the coop to eat and drink and run with the rest and while she was eating her crop wasn't huge and wasn't really squishy do don't think that is the problem.
I will try to post a picture and possibly get a video up. But I am wondering if maybe a riboflavin vitamin deficiency? or coccidiosis (sp?)? She can still run and will go in phases where she walks fine (I was trying to video her falling over and she kept walking fine!) but then will have times she is bad and falls over often. I sat in the run with them a TON today to watch her. It seemed like it may have been a leg that was the problem. so I picked her up to check her legs and noticed when I did her left toes curled while her right ones stayed out straight. After noticing that we would notice after she stumbled her toes would curl so wondering if they curl a bit and that is what makes her stumble? Looking that up points to a riboflavin (B-2) deficiency...... I did get some poultry booster that has B-2 in it. I have her inside in the brooder crate tonight with puppy pads so I can see what her poop looks like.
Just wondering if anyone else has any ideas or where I should start to treat her? I asked someone I met on FB that has chickens and lives in my town and she said not to give any extra vitamins or anything until I knew what was wrong. I figured the boost couldn't hurt....... What do the experts here think? I am a new chicken owner so I could be way off with thinking they won't hurt.
