So I’m integrating 2 new female ducks that are about 3ish months with a male and a female duck that are about 2 years old. One of the new ducks is a blue Swedish another one is a Pekin duck. The older male duck is a Rouen duck and the other lady is a cayuga. When we first started introductions the male mounted the pekin and just sat on top of her for a little but afterwards left her alone. However the male just will not leave the blue Swedish duck alone. He will just stand on top of her and bite her head. He doesn’t let up at all and just keeps chasing her and standing on top of her. I was wondering if this is normal behavior and if we should let them keep going or if we should stop this behavior.

I have a male and female and four babies of theirs. I am only 6 months owning ducks, so I hope to read other peoples answers. But male ducks are crazy and I let them be as long as he's not attacking a baby duckling. Sometimes I do have to pick him up and remove him from the other animals. I see it as ornery behavior, but not abnormal. I do watch him around the chickens at night because he has gone after hens too.

I don't want to overstep so please don't take this as an attack or anything like that. I just wanted to let you know that a Drake can kill a chicken by mating with them. If you already know this, please disregard my comment. I wish you the best :D
