I'd have to say someone was pulling your leg with that term if, what the previous poster posted is what it means.

The definition mentioned a "lorry". That would imply it is a European Euphemism since we call lorry's trucks in America.

I have no advise on how to euthanize a chicken. I am sorry you had to do that. Best regards, fc.

I don't know what your situation is, but if you have to euthanize a bird consider researching building a helium chamber. I have a vet at my disposal now but it hasn't always been that way. The helium method works and is as peaceful as euthanasia can be.
