What is happening here? (pics)

I looked at some of the scaly mites threads and I don't think this is the same thing.... (not positive though) I have 5 hens and a roo and only 1 foot on 1 hen looks like this- and it isn't up her leg either, it is just the foot itself.... hmmm.

I noticed the cut (?) in the pic as well, but I am not aware of any injury. They do go outside and forage though, so maybe she got a scratch somehow?

I will try to clean it up and put some vaseline on it and see what happens

I googled foot fungus on chickens and it looks to me like it very well could be mites. Try and wash her feet with a soft toothbrush apply vasiline. I do hope someone with more experience will be of more help to you
