What is happening!? (Pecking?/sick??)

One (of three) of my chickens has this strange thing happening to her tail area... I thought it would go away for a while but it didn't and I'm starting to be concerned... Is this fine or is she going to die??? We also haven't been getting all three eggs very often. We usually at least get two but not very often is it that we get three. Is this irrelevant or the same problem? Thank you all so much!!

I should also mention she was the friendliest, most likeable hen and now she runs from me and seems scared..?

I'm not quite sure on the measurements but I'm pretty sure it's plenty! We started with 5 chickens and now have three since we realized we were low on space.. and they were good for a while until recently. They are a year and 17 weeks old
