I haven’t heard anything about weather changing the egg formation, but it’s normal for younger ones to lay a dud every once in a while23 weeks, she's been laying daily for about 3 weeks now. Could it be the heat and humidity?

Eh, maybe...at least the soft shelled ones.....fair game, IMO.They have tasted fresh eggs now, it's going to be real hard for you to stop them from eating fresh eggs now.
