What is happening???

They have layer feed at all times plus I give them fermented grain every other day along with fresh veges or fruit and black oil sunflower seeds. They lay in the nest boxes but this happened when they were out with me free ranging in the big yard.

An egg without a shell. Most likely cause, lack of calcium they need oyster shell and granite grit. Chickens love eggs they will eat them over easy , hard boiled, scrambled . If a chicken can pick a hole in an egg they need more calcium in the diet . We boil our egg shells and feed them to the chickens. Hopes this helps ya understand:old
I have oyster shell and grit out in separate bowels for them at all times

The girl who popped out the blob yesterday has laid a normal egg today so maybe it was just the heat. She also is the girl both males seem to want all the time. That may be stressing her out

Cut out everything but the layer feed and oyster shell for a little while. It's likely just a new layer glitch, but it's best to make sure she's eating enough good layer feed until she gets her egg laying all figured out. :)

Definitely can be a factor.
Might want to get them, or at least one, out of there.

OS should not be mixed into feed,
keep it in a separate feeder and maybe mix with some crushed egg shell.

Every once in wile you may have one slip through without getting a shell If frequency continues to increase then I would worry , I mix the oyster shell and grit with whatever type grain I am using. It takes a huge amount of calcium to build a shell more than one would think. Some of the feed now says it has calcium in it but I don't trust that . I tell ya what's really nice to have is a small electric cement mixer but don't use it for cement use it for grain. When you get the grain combination you want just mix in grit and oyster shell . You can even adjust your mix for birds that need more or less protein according to formula . Might this help?
I have 2 roos also so mixing in the calcium is not recommended from all ive read
