What is he?

He is not quite 9 weeks old. He has been crowing since he was 6 weeks old.

He came in an order from Murray McMurray hatchery. Either he is the "rare/exotic" bonus chick or a mistake mixed in with the brown egg layer assortment. He is significantly smaller than the other 25 chicks that are the same age.
Anyone have any idea what he is? Is he some kind of bantam or just small for his age?

Excellent. Looked him up on the internet. Perfect description of him. We usually prefer to only keep a couple roosters here, but we will make an exception for him. He should do well here. It's hot and our chickens free range dusk to dark.
Thank you so much. Anything special I should know about him? You obviously know the breed well. Only took a couple minutes to identify him.
