What breed is he? I can't get him to display so this pic is best I have.

I think it looks like a Rio Grande because of the green you should look them up he is very pretty

He may have some Rio in him, but I would bet he is a standard bronze that carries the red gene, thus making him a Red Bronze. Look at his secondary and tertiary flight feathers. They have a peppering pattern rather than distinct bars. Typical of the red bronzes I've raised. Do you know what his parents were? Any chance one is a Bourbon Red?

I finally got a hold of lady i got him from and she said that where she got him they had narrangesset, black Spanish and royal palm. So I figure he must be half black Spanish , but don't know enough to guess other half. Just looked at some pics of breeds and now think maybe she didn't remember correctly.
