This afternoon I was cracking eggs to make a cake and found this abnormality in an egg. I can't figure out what it is, I've looked at every kind of worm I can find a pic of on the internet and can't find anything like this. I took a close up and perspective of it. It isn't moving but I don't know if it is because it was refrigerated and died. Please help!

I agree. I have 13 week old Buff Orpington pullet/s (not sure about one of them) and I want to find out as much as I can about eggs before the buffs start laying, for which I am soooooooo excited

I have new layers and have occasionally found meat spots in a few eggs. I'm avoiding selling or giving away the eggs to others just yet until I can be a little more sure that the eggs won't have random things in it. We just pick it out and use the egg. I usually crack them individually into a small bowl so I can check them before I add them to a pan or a recipe.
