What is it? Pic included

Not sure if this is the right place for it, but I went to our local zoo with my two daughters and came across this really cool looking bird. I couldn't find the sign for it, but I did get a picture of it. It is fairly large and they had it housed with ducks, anyone know what kind of bird it is. I am really curious, it is soooo beautiful.
