I have a black bantam cochin that bred with my leg horn. Is there a name for this cross? My orpington hatched it and now I have a very small white hen with feathers an her feet.

Getting some white rocks in April. Want to feed them a grain mix that I mix up. What's the best mix of grains to feed them with high protein?

Grains alone will not provide adequate nutrition.

Saw a mixture of grains and sunflower seeds. Any suggestions?

The problem with mixing you own feeds is cost and balancing the right nutrients. Unless you are able to purchase and store large quantities of feed ingredients, it's not cost effective. Also, chickens have precise nutrient requirements for healthy growth and development. And many nutrients that are required can not be sourced from plants. The risks of nutritional deficiencies with homemade feeds are serious.
