What is it?

    We ordered our latest batch of chickens from McMurray hatchery and they gave us a free "rare breed chick." Unfortunately they didn't tell us what it was and they don't keep records of the "extras" that they include. The chicken in the picture is just over 2 months old and is about 2/3's the size of our red star hens that are the same age. I am reasonable certain that is a rooster, as it is clearly making efforts at crowing. Anyone recognize the bird below?
