We think its a buff cochin roo, but its way bigger then our partridge and silver laced cochins that are the same age.

Hard to tell the gender on that buff Cochin..although the bird to the left of him/her in the first pic is a boy.

that is a buff cochin roo whith that much comb develipmint at that age it is 100% roo besides the free chick are almost always roos

I figured that much. Oh well we are gonna end up with a bunch out of this shipment. They sent us an extra Lakenvelder rooster too.

I can't tell what breed the roo chick is because there is only it's back (with no feathers just chick down). You can tell by the slow feathering that it's a roo. Maybe he will be a sweet one that can replace your mean roo.

Its the same chick thats on the right in the 2nd pic if that helps any. I knew that shipment went too smooth with all 27 making it.
