Hi everyone! I’ve had a predator roaming the area and I don’t know what it is or what to do! It’s managed to kill all 4 of my polish chickens while they were in their coop, then proceeded to kill my two free range drakes.
At first I thought maybe it was a raccoon sneaking into the chicken coop because it was going for the locked up chickens over the two ducks who are just out and about, but then I had a duck disappear on me two nights ago with no trace but a bunch of feathers and thought maybe bobcat? I ended up locking my other duck up last night in hopes to avoid another attack, but something managed to slip in and kill him too. No trace of a carcass or blood, only feathers at the scene and trail of feathers out the yard & into the woods.
I attached a photo of the hole & a photo of the feather I found with scratches all over it.
Any advice would be so greatly appreciated!
