What is my ducks breed???

Need some more pics... Muscovy are very difficult to sex as they don't quack like other ducks and also not having other 'scovies the same age makes it more challenging since there aren't any others to compare with... I believe males have wider leg stance, thicker, bigger legs and webs... and females have closer set legs and *I think* a longer tail... also, males get a larger red mask of caruncles on their faces...

Maybe @Miss Lydia can help?

Oh, and if your muscovy breeds any of your other ducks the offspring will be sterile like mules, just FYI...

Thanks so much for the info Ravyn! I have a couple pictures that could help. Any info on the gender would be much appreciated I also noticed that my Muscovy hisses and chirps. He/she also raises the feathers on his head quite often. I don't know if that helps find the gender at all but I just started noticing it. Thanks much

I think both genders will do that, not totally sure... those legs and feet look awful thick and big... my guess would be male, but I'd wait for Miss Lydia's input, she has 'scovies...
