Hi! Ok so a few months ago I hatched some of my hen’s eggs. The rooster that fertilized them was a Rhode Island Red and the hens that I have are barred rocks, Rhode Island reds, Delawares, buff orpingtons, and welsummers. I got 2 little black hens that I thought were a Barred rock and RIR cross but now that they have grown up I don’t know because they have a brown pattern on their neck like a welsummer. I’m really curious on how they got to look like this
Thanks!

Rhode Island Red rooster bred to a Barred Rock is the typical black sexlink cross. That is exactly what your black girls look like. The Barred Rock is actually a solid black bird with the barring gene producing white stripes across the whole body. That barring gene can only be passed to the male offspring, though. The pullets get the solid black (with a bit of leakage thanks to the rooster's Mahogany gene) but no barring.
