Thanks everyone. He is actually a he though. He crows and has begun mounting my leg thinking I am a hen.

Yeah, mounting your leg may be a sign of dominance... he thinks that HE is the boss over you. How old is he? He must be fairly young then and the saddle feathers will be coming.

Not sure if exact age. My friend that I got him from said when he got him in April he was a chick. We are working on his dominance. He was the sweetest thing when he was younger. Ate out of my hand and loved to sit on my lap. Now he is still sweet. He loves to be near me. But sometimes he gets a little too comfortable and tries to peck my hands or feet. Because my friend didn't have any other chickens I don't think he really knows what he is. He was raised with people and a dog. Now he's scared of all the other birds except my juvenile naked necks that he tries to mount. He's an odd little thing. He insists on sleeping with the goat, not the chickens. Also hangs out with the goat and eats leaves with him all day.
