Whippoorwill is a little week old chick with a very good set of lungs.

Whippoorwill is a week old, clean legged, and appears to have a single comb and muffs. Came from Ideal.

Just to reassure you I have a Silkie chick at the moment who chirps continuously at his mother, sometimes very loudly. She takes no notice of the incessant noise so don't think you are doing anything wrong. You just have a very vocal chick.

I do sympathise! Our bantam is brooding the Silkie babies inside and it gets quite annoying sometimes. My chicks are almost 6 weeks old for goodness sake!
