What Is Normal Laying For A Pullet?

My 20 week old BR layed a pretty little pullet egg, then skipped 1 day, then layed an egg, and now she has gone a week with out another. Is she laying normal for a pullet? I don't think she is hiding them. I suspect I'm like any fist time mom and worring over nothing but I just want to make sure.

I don't think there is a "normal" but I wouldn't be concerned at this point. My oldest BO laid her first egg one Christmas morning, and laid each day for the next 4 days, then didn't lay another egg for 11 days. On the 12th day after her last egg, she popped one out as I was watching and from that point, laid one every single day for the next 63 days! Yours may end up doing something similar.

Three weeks later and finally another egg. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that these were also the hottest three weeks of the year.
