I am new to having chickens, we raised them from chicks and they are about 10 to 12 weeks old. The other day I noticed that one of my hens had a white spot on her eye... I thought maybe it was just some debris or some thing and that it would go away, but today I noticed it is still there, and upon a closer look I am concerned that it is possibly something that we should be worried about/need to take care of. Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? Any input is appreciated!

I don’t think there’s any way she’d stay still to let me do that 😢

Hypnotizing triggers the fear reaction in chickens, so it's actually pretty cruel.

OP, does it look solid or kind of soft? My first thought was a scale or feather sheath, but it may also be pus.
it actually brings it back to a pleasent memory if my rasherch is corect.

I think it is hard to tell for sure but it looks similar to eye flukes to me .
