It's definitely a blue somethin'. I'm not sure how many different breeds come in that color. Once it gets big enough to tell what type comb it has, it'll be easier to identify.

I see poofy cheeks and a beard though... So I vote EE.

Try to be a little kinder Fizzy. Yes, people can get on your nerves (I would know). Just please be a little more respectful. They probably didn't see it in your post.
I don't see a beard and I think its cheeks are a little poofy because it's only a couple days old - not because it is growing muffs. The blue orpington chick I referred to on feathersite also has fluffy cheeks - it's brand new also. The chick on my hand in this photo is a splash orpington, but still has its newborn fluffiness.
Take a look at these easter egger chicks - this is what muffs & beards would look like on a newborn chick:
I still think it's too early to say exactly what type of chick this is, unless the OP has more information about it - where it came from - why it's suspected to be an EE, etc.

dear daughter~ you forgot to mention that he's the same age as our buff's, but is the smallest of the whole bunch! even smaller than the bantams that are 1 week older... I hope he's a she! that's all I want.

Oops, I didn't realize both chicks are actually on my hands. The smallest chick on my hand is the splash orp and still has puffy looking cheeks, the 1 1/2 week old chick standing on my other hand is an EE we purchased to keep the little one company and you can't tell from the sideview pic, but her cheeks are VERY poofy.
