I had previously posted questions about fungal crop meds, but now I am not sure if that is the problem. (I hope this isn't considered duplicate posting, each time is a different question!)
Hen, 1.5 yrs old, went through recent molt, poor crop motility for a couple weeks but was eating and drinking, was lethargic (I thought from molt) and has lost weight. Recently discovered northern fowl mites and dusted flock with poultry dust (permethrin)
I have her separated and warm. Her crop feels very thick and spongy and will not empty after two days with just water with ACV and some soft food and oil and massage.
she is passing small firm black poop. Most sour crops threads talk about watery green poo. Her crop does not smell
She is quiet and mostly just standing hunched with eyes closed.
Any thoughts?
