I was thinking OE/ OE mix as wellShe could be an Olive Egger mixed up. I kinda wanna say Blue Rock. She has barring on her tail, which could be from the Barred Rock if she's that. When she starts laying eggs, take note and update us please.
Chocolate eggs: BCM
Olive eggs: Olive Egger
Cream to whitish eggs: Blue Rock
Tan eggs: Sapphire Gem
Which in the first picture, the tiny black thing is the supposed OE, I’ll have to check in the morning but I can’t remember if she’s the one with feathering or not.She could be an Olive Egger mixed up. But I got 3 OE (2 unfortunately passed :’() but one was a Roo, 2 were hens, one had feathered legs & one doesn’t. I was thinking maybe a blue copper maran?
I had for sure a pullet black copper maran, she resembled her in the face but completely different color.
Will do, she’s about to hit her 5 month mark so should be soon! She’s getting some red on her comb
The blue hen is clean legged, so I'm highly doubting she's a Marans. Most of these hatcheries are keeping the French in them, so most will have some leg feathering. I'm leaning toward she's one of those other breeds I mentioned. We are talking about just the blue one here, right? The black one looks like a Black Copper Marans cockerel.Which in the first picture, the tiny black thing is the supposed OE, I’ll have to check in the morning but I can’t remember if she’s the one with feathering or not.
