What is that thing in my egg?

Found this in my 3 minutes egg this morning. Any ideas/suggestions as to what it might be?

FYI, I have layers of different ages and some have just started. This was a regular sized egg, so probably not laid by a newbie. My hens are pastured and receive daily servings of fruit and/or vegetables.

The first pic shows the inside.

Thank you.

That is something from the oviduct or ovary, a piece of tissue. I don't think I would be eating eggs for a while after finding that.

Looks like a 'lash egg'...which usually indicates an infection in the reproductive system.
Don't think I've ever heard of one being inside a 'normal' egg.....but it certainly is possible.
