What is the best all-around wormer?

Can anyone tell me the dosage for valvazen for my hens?

Valbazen dosage is 1/2cc given orally undiluted to standard size chickens, 1/4cc to smaller birds. Redose again in 10 days.

Is there a time fraem that eggs shouldn't be consumed after administering valbazen?

I have three (two SS pullets, one EE roo) that are only 3 months old. I don't really see signs of worms, but want to start 2x a year worming. I also occasionally give them Bragg's ACV in their water. On those Valbazen doses, would I give it to all of them for just one day, then wait 10 days and give one more dose? Do you know whether there's a minimum age for Valbazen?

Dose them all now individually, then again in 10 days.

Although, three months is pretty young. If you don't see signs of worms, then wait until the fall and get on a fall/spring schedule, in my opinion.

Ok...thank you for the advice. Wow, Valbazen is high! $54 for 16.9oz.. Oh well, it's a good investment, and that bottle will probably outlast all the birds I have right now... I haven't seen signs of worms, except for a weird looking one the other day; it could've been a mutant earthworm though. Since I'm not sure, that's the only reason I'm considering starting now. I was thinking now, and then again in the Spring, and then stay on the Fall/Spring routine...

Worms can infect birds at 6 weeks old if they are on soil. ACV wont stop them.

I just bought mine today at Coastal for $41. My local feedstores didn't carry it, so I had to drive to town.

I gave it all to them individually on a little bread and they really enjoyed that! I had gotten my hands on Solubenol in the past, which is a pain to administer. I've used RoosterBooster as well, but have my doubts about that. So, this was really a nice change of pace. In 10 days, they get more bread "treats!"

Thank y'all, but it's too late. When I made that post, I'd already bought it. I'm going to wait until Friday or Saturday to dose them. I gave my neighbor some eggs today, and I want to get a few more for myself before starting. Dosing all of them once, then again in 10 days will mean I'll have to toss eggs for 4 weeks all together. Thank you for the help

Actually the withdrawal would be 24 days from start to finish.
