If you haven't had a fecal test done, before and after treating with those things, then you have no way to know if you are actually successfully treating anything. Or not. Most parasites will never be visible. I had some very sick birds, and lost a few to secondary infections from heavy loads of parasites. If that has never happened to you, then you've no way to understand the sadness of knowing you lost a bird to something that was completely preventable with the correct treatment. I don't mess around with herbals or natural remedies any more. If I know I've got a bird(s) with a load of parasites I treat with what I know from personal experience actually works. Maybe you have a very low environmental load where you are and it's never been an issue for your flock up to now. For some of us, that is not the case and messing around with things that don't work can cost us in losses.
