They just are.

Ducks are adorable! How dare you call them ugly. Has anyone here ever seen a duck try to walk on ice while their tiny little feet are slipping and their little round bodies keep thumping on the ground and some try to army crawl? No? I would recommend it. You can never say dux are ugly after that. Clumsy? Yes Cute? Yes. But Ugly? No way.
