What is the best bait for live traps??

well it was for this stupid cat that was targeting my chicks..and naturally it never came near it.

the chick didnt care....it wasnt scared of cats anyways so it just sat there eating and looking around.

If your primary predator is raccoons try marshmellows. 'coons are very curious and I've had great success.

What do you do with the skunk if you catch it in a live trap? If you shoot it, won't you get sprayed anyway? And won't you blow your $30 trap to bits?
