What is the best battery operated coop door?

Hi thank you! How long does it typically last? I have a friend who has the chicken guard extreme and said the batteries didn't last very long at all, around a month.

We have had it since the start of the year... Not had to change the batteries yet

I'm in MA, too. I have the Happy Henhouse and am really happy with it. It's been over a year since I installed it, and I haven't had to change the batteries yet.

Not really. It's just the normal white chicken guard

Colorado here...I have the Ador. It uses a lantern battery. Ours has been going strong for over a year now.

This. I've had the same battery unhooked for about 2 years and it still worked when I just I stalled the Ador again and it's working.... that is 4 years, 2 attached, 2 dormant. I got the battery at Walmart

Get the Ador.
