I live in MA so winter can be cold and snowy. I also would like something that has a decent battery life. Any suggestions welcome! Tia

I have a chicken-guard. It has a very long battery life and not too expensive
Hi thank you! How long does it typically last? I have a friend who has the chicken guard extreme and said the batteries didn't last very long at all, around a month.

Colorado here...I have the Ador. It uses a lantern battery. Ours has been going strong for over a year now.
This. I've had the same battery unhooked for about 2 years and it still worked when I just I stalled the Ador again and it's working.... that is 4 years, 2 attached, 2 dormant. I got the battery at Walmart

Get the Ador.
