what is the best cold hardy brown egg laying chicken

it was 5 degrees this am here in Colorado....I have BR, Gold Comets, Australorp...all still laying....
no added light either...

After that and a very close second: Black Aussies, New Hamps, RIR.
 
Chanteclers were bred specifically for the cold weather of Canada...

Unless you have a heated coop stay away from the ISA and other hybrid layers. Yes, they are industry standard, but the don't lay like industry birds when exposed to cold. They where designed to lay under specific conditions which does not include being cold hardy.
