What is the best Duck for my Yard

I have 2 Muscovies. They are very quiet. I got them as babies so they are very sweet and friendly. I only have a 4' chainlink fence so I clipped their wings. They just walk around eating stuff and playing in their kiddie pool.

if you get fat ducks, like rouens, or swedes, they can't fly. if you just want pets, get 2 boys, if you want eggs, get two girls.. if you want ducklings, get at least 2 girls and 1 boy.

If I want ducklings, and want egg layers should I get 3 girls ?

Thanks for the great information. The chickens are coming home March the 31 so we will see how I feel about a duck after that but I think a pekin would be best for a starter. Thanks for all of your help !!!
