What is the best feed you have had success with?

Thought I'd give a report on my sprouting...18 pullet eggs before 1.11lbs 3-4 days later 1.13 and yesterday 1.14 so it seems the eggs are bigger if from the food change I dunno they've been on the wheat sprouts for 2 weeks just now starting with the added barley and oats and in 3 days Boss but they did get a little boss in the scratch. I'll keep weighing everyday now and keep giving updates.

I feed all of my birds Flock Raiser. I have found it makes their feathers shinier and they love it. My birds also free range every day when I get home from work until dark. I would mix my own feed and do the sprout thing, but we have a 14 year old that takes care of the animals while we are gone and that would be too much work for him.

I just love field peas as a feed. Nothing like the magic of a legume complimenting corn, wheat and oats....

Nice to see a quality soy free feed. All be it a little pricey for our budget. I personally feel organic should not be more than 30% more expensive than the non organic alternative.

We are thinking about also growing some oats or wheat to feed them. What would be best for them? Should I add it as is when harvested, or sprout it?
