Hardware cloth is what ia needed to cover your entire run with. It is the best for keeping out predators, especially raccoons!!!! If I've seen it once, I've seen it 100 times on BYC, 'Chicken wire keeps chickens in, but not predators out'. To keep your chickens totally safe at night, I suggest building a ventilated coop, so you can lock them in at night.

That's what many would call a run, not a coop. And the comment above about chicken wire is right: it's not a predator-proof protection. It's a good run!
