What is the best hatchery?

Hi! Im looking to get more birds and I want to know what hatchery has quality birds. Thanks!

Get them from somewhere close. Shipping is hard on chicks, especially long distances.
What breeds are you looking for? Perhaps you can find some local breeders.

What are your goals with your birds ? If you are considering showing, define the breeds that you are interested in - go to a local show and contact someone there who does well and whose birds you like.

I'm looking for a breed that I can start breeding. I want show quality, but I have no clue where to find it. I'm in oregon.

Im looking for a breed that lays well, pretty good hatch rates, eye catcher, maybe autosexing?

Hatcheries are not the place to get show quality birds. Try visiting poultry shows to find breeders....there's one in Canby, OR in April. Of course the state fair in Salem would be good, but it's at the end of summer. Maybe a website like this would help. There are probably lots of other online resources....
