What is the best tasting meat chicken?

anybody try RIR or BO's at 16-20 weeks? these are most of the eggs in my bator from my 3 hens?

We have a dozen white rocks and havent tried them yet. My husband raised them when he was little so we bought them. We want to buy some more here soon but dont know which would make the best meat bird. I dont think the cornish X is a good breed to go with if you want to raise chicks..i think i read where they dont breed true. I think they can have let problems if you dont feed a certain way also. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The best tasting chicken is whatever the person eating it prefers. That's sort of like asking what the best flavor of ice cream is.

For me, it would be just about anything except the Cornish X, which I find to be less flavorful than other breeds. Others say the ones I like taste too strong. Cornish X taste good, I just like others better.

dark cornish. cornish X always seemed a little... well i dunno how to describe it... less? RIR's are delish though!
