What is the best thing to feed breeders?

I have a few pairs of breeders and I was wondering what is the best thing to feed them? I'm new to breeding so I didn't know if there were certian things that breeding chickens need more more than just laying feed. Thanks in advance!

Araconas
BLRW

Alot depends on the breed. Heavy duel purpose gets fed a 20% diet while the light egg layers get a 16 % diet.

Layer feed or game bird feed with oyster shell. Lots of people use game bird feed for the higher protein.

Friends that have a big flock and feed organic told me to give the girls liver for a treat to keep the protein up. Says they gobble it up so fast, love it.
