If you were misled I would NOT consider the breeder a reputable breeder. That is really too bad about your purchase. One tip I tell people is to ask a breeder how to tell a male from a female. Have them show you each sex and HOW to sex a rabbit. Also, unless both animals are fixed, I personally would never recommend keeping two rabbits together no matter the sexes. There is a lot more to worry about than accidental babies when housing multiples together.
