What is the best way train your chickens to come into the coop..

With my chickens, I started out by always saying "Chick chick" and making a kissing noise whenever I would hand feed them. Now if I make that noise, they come running. Makes it easier to get them back in the run.

I trained mine to a verbal call and, of course, treats. They will come to my call even if I am far from the coop now.

I never had to train mine to go in the coop, perhaps because it has a lot of breeze and natural light, and/or I keep their food and water in there. They go on the roosts around sundown even if they have been free ranging all day; they also go in there to lay, other than a couple of times when a broody laid a clutch of eggs hidden somewhere.
