What is the correct way to treat a foot wound?

My light Sussex has what looks to be a wound/scab on the bottom of her foot. I noticed it during a routine check. She doesn't seem to be bothered by it. What is the correct way to treat this? I sprayed it with vetericyn and then put betadine on it. What would you do? Sorry for the blurry pic, it's the best I could do with one hand. Thanks!

Hard to tell if it's just a hardened poop/debris ball that's been captured in the crevice/pocket of the foot or if it's a bumblefoot scab.

If it's a poop/debris ball stuck in the foot, then you should be able to work it loose. Soaking may be needed. A ball stuck in the foot looks similar to this https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...acted-pockets-in-chickens-toe-webbing.950954/

If it's a bumblefoot scab and she's not limping or bothered by it, then I'd work on it using a non-surgical approach as outlined in the article below.
