what is the difference between runner ducks and indian runner ducks?

I have a fawn and white runner and Im not sure if he is indian or not what is the difference??

Runner is just a shortened version of the official breed name of Indian Runner. Similar to how the chicken breed Plymouth Rocks are just referred to as Rocks, such as Barred Rock.
