These are both dark brahmas! I have six. Some have feathers on their butts and some do not! Does this mean I have roosters? If not, what does this mean?

Generally, pullets feather out faster than do cockerels. One of the ways I HOPE to semi-accurately sex my chicks is to see how quickly their tail-feathers come in. Little boys don't grow tail feathers as early as little girls.

Generally. A lot of the time. Sometimes.

your more feathered out chicks are probably girls, the ones who are the farthest behind in feather growth at that age are probably boys.

pic #2 looks female by the coloring and the feathering areas. Males are slow to feather on the shoulders, back, and butt compared to the girls.
