What is the difference?

I was told these were both india blue but they don't look the same to me. What is the difference?

are you asking what we see that is different, I see the wings but that is all.

One is a normal India Blue and the the other is a India Blue Black Shoulder.

Yes, it looks like the bird on the left is Indian Blue Black Shoulder and the boy on the right is Indian Blue, what is sometimes called "barred" or "wild type." Although you can never tell what genetic secrets they might be hiding!
