What is the difference

A Barred Rock is a specific coloring of Plymouth Rock. There are also white, buff and a few other colors of Plymouth Rocks.
 
Barred rock is a color variety of the breed Plymouth rock. Dominique is a different breed looks a lot like a barred rock except for the comb.
 
Plymouth rock is the breed, they come in different colors with barred being the most common. They have a single comb.

Dominique are a barred breed that has a rose comb and they only come in barred.

So this girl is mixed with but is she barred rock or Dominique she has very clear black and white barring ? If it helps she lays A dark brown egg.

I got her from someone with legbars but she lays dark brown not greenish
That's what happens in Olive Egger breeding programs. After a few generations, if you're not careful, you loose the blue shell gene and you just end up with dark brown layers. She's got the egg color and feathered legs of the Marans ancestors and the yellow skin and crest of the Legbar ancestors.

Whatever they did she makes the prettiest eggs and the largest eggs out of all the girls. The dark one on the end
