What is the diffrence between RIR, Prod Reds and New Hampshire Reds,

What is the diffrence between RIR, Prod Reds and New Hampshire Reds, I see people always Say Its not a Real RIR it's a Prod Red. Thanks

I have 3 pullets- one I am pretty sure is a Rhode Island Red as sold. The 2 I got today I'm not so sure. One is almost yellow in the face- pretty sure it's a production red or something else? The other one looks like my other Rhode Island Red- darker red. They were both sold by the feed store as Rhode Island Reds - but they look different.
Anyhow I am also wondering if there's any way to actually tell!

Well according to the links RIR are very dark in color. It appears most people have production reds. I would Like to see real pic's of the diffrent ones ifanyone has some.

They look just like our Production Reds from the TSC.

Heres my Rose Comb Rhode Island Red Bantam, Not the best Pic but it shows the Real RIR color. Thos Birds in the Pics above are Production reds. Usually birds From hatcherys are Production Reds or new Hampshires. To get a good colored RIR u have to go through a breeder.
