What is the friendliest breed of rooster?

I was wondering, What breed of rooster is the friendliest?
I don't think temperament is breed dependent but can be related to both heredity and how the cockerel was raised. I've found the nicest are raised within a flock or at least with chickens of different and older ages so that he isn't either only ever with pullets his own age. If he's within a flock, he won't always be at the top of the pecking order.
Once I realize a chick is a cockerel I don't make a pet of him although all my roosters are friendly.
If you have other birds and get a young cockerel that is fine or you may want to check around to see if anyone has a young rooster or cockerel they are looking for a home for
Often people with too many males will keep several nice ones until they have them sorted out or if they have a rooster that is nice they may want to bring new blood into their breeding program and are willing to rehome a nice rooster.
If you hope to raise your own chicks you may want to get something that matches the hens you have.

Barred rock. Mine is very tame. I gave some chicks that I knew were males to a friend and she wouldn't believe they were male because they were so mellow.
