What is the gender of my 8 week-old bantam Cochin?

This is my hatchery-sexed "pullet" bantam...

Eight weeks old and looking rather questionable.

Am I actually looking at a little cockerel here? Outgoing behavior and large reddening comb and waddles is concerning to me. Very affectionate little one, always challenging the other chicks, at the top of the pecking order in my pen of similar-aged chicks:











You can't tell very well in the picture, but I noticed some dark red shiny feathers coming in around the neck... =/

Pretty sure that's a cockerel. My mature hens have about that much headgear.

Did you keep and find out the gender?
 
I did, it was a little cockerel. Fortunately, I found someone with some cochin hens who happily took him in. He was a very well-mannered little guy.
