Actually, the correct term for a male chicken under the age of a year is a cockerel, and a female, a pullet.It looks like another rooster and hen to me, but I’m not sure. If they’re the same cross/ breed then I’d say that

It’s your choice to exchange him, do you mean his feathers fell out? If so it’s probably because he molted or he got them pulled out. And I’m sure he’ll be findSo I just have to wait.
