can someone please tell me the gender of the white silkie chick laying down.

How old? Silkies are notoriously hard to sex. I have five that I still don’t know the sex and they’re 11 weeks. But super cute either way.

At this moment in time I’d say pullet. How old is she? (If she isn’t around 6 months post again when she is then I’ll have a more accurate answer)

12 days is too soon for this breed. But update again when she’s older.
Im posting an update of my silkies, when I get new pictures of them, and I don’t think they have any definitive sex characteristics. At least not that I can tell.

Post again in about July (long time to wait I know). The only thing is I am kinda concerned that she may be a cockerel considering she already has a fairly big comb.

Those are some little cuties you’ve got there! Update photos in a few weeks, silkies can be a bit more difficult to sex.

At this point, just enjoy their baby stage. It impossible to tell at their current stage, especially with Silkies. They are hard to tell when young.
