What is the KINDEST breed of bantam rooster?

I have a Nankin, and he is so sweet and gentle. But I'm a newbie to the chicken world, so really have nothing else to compare him to. But I've heard stories!!

When I feed them grape pieces, he very gently takes them out of my hand... and then gives them to his hen! Now that's a gentleman!

Oh, and we do have some young, juvenile barred rocks. That rooster grabs food away from his hens and darn near takes my finger off when I hand feed him! Of course, he is still a young one. Maybe he'll grow out of that.

My Showgirl Roo sits on my lap, talks to me and tries to make me a nest (at least I think that's what he's doing). Doesn't like little kids too much though (they scream move alot and irritate his girls).

I vote Silkies...one of mine likes to be picked up and cuddled and none of them are mean. My Frizzle Cochin roos are pretty sweet too.

I have had the little Cochin roos and they were friendly and nice to people. I know most people have sweet Silkies, but my roos were pretty mean. I have a baby one now and he seems like he is much nicer and friendly so far. I guess we will see how he is when he is grown. I am hoping he will be one of the sweet ones.

Bantams I have or had:
Brahma, Cochin, Silkies, Barred Rock, Rhode Island Red!

Sweetest: Brahmas, Cochins (most Silkies I have/had)

Eggs (order from Biggest to Smallest) Rhode Island, (Barred Rock & Brahma tied) Cochin, Silkies

In my opinion Cochins are.

Believe it or not, my RIR bantam roo is very social toward people and is also fantastic with the hens. He breeds like he is supposed to and the hens never have a feather out of place. I have Mille Fleur D'uccles too, and the roos are very good, but my little RIR bantam is my favorite.
